Type 7E - "Musha Bessaku"

This is a custom, extended grip wakizishi... specially made at the request of a dojo. The tsuka length is 10.5" and has a very different balance point and weight than all other swords. Simple colors and designs top to bottom... This is a specialized two handed cutter and is surprisingly easy to use relative to a standard wakizashi... whether it be used as a one handed or two handed blade.

The overall apparence of this wakizashi matches that of our Higo Katana. It uses double mekugi. Standard Musashi Double ring tsuba make it attractive for any collection.

Blade geometry is simple and straightforward. Matching the apparence of all our other katana.

Everything about the blade from the habaki forward is the same as our standard wakizashi. Everything from the habaki back is the same as our standard katana.

The only difference between the two blades is that the 7E has an extended 10.5" tsuka. This design is made at the request of a karate dojo for their specialized cutting practices.
