"Onitsume" 1045 Carbon Steel

The "Onitsume" means Demon's Claw. It is our final production run of 1045 Carbon Steel Katana. The 1045 series is intended to be the most affordable sword available for practice in a dojo setting. It is constructed the same exact way as our higher lines of swords.

Double pinned (bamboo+brass), real same ray skin panel wrap. Glossy saya. Hand forged and polished. Even though this is considered an entry level sword, but you would certainly not be able to tell from its looks.

The difference between this and our previous versions of 1045 Carbon Steel swords is that it is available in either with bo-hi version as well as without bo-hi. Either one will be great for use in dojos or for presentations commerating special events and achievements.

Final addition to our most affordable line of through hardened 1045 Carbon Steel Katana Line. Unlike the previous versions of 1045, the Onitsume is available with either the fullered version as well as the non-fullered version. These are constructed in the same way as our higher priced products with the only difference being in steel material.
